Spend half a day learning stewardship of archaeological sites on the Oregon Country Fair property with archaeologists. We will visit sites and learn about the first inhabitants stretching back over 10,000 years to the Kalapuya of today. Artifacts and their context within the larger context of Oregon will be discussed. Learn about flintknapping, the plants and animals that were utilized over time. Receive a memento to remind you of this special day.
